Postdoc Community Lunch (Monthly)
Postdoc Community Lunch
Casual space. Open conversation. Bring ideas—or just yourself.
Join the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs for our monthly Postdoc Community Lunch, a relaxed, drop-in space designed to bring postdocs together. Enjoy a free meal while connecting with colleagues from across disciplines, building community, and taking a well-deserved break from your day.
These gatherings are intentionally unstructured to create space for meaningful conversation. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, exchange ideas, ask questions, or simply step away from your work for a bit, this is your time. Postdocs are welcome to bring works-in-progress, proposals, or research challenges for informal feedback—but there’s no expectation to prepare anything in advance.
Staff from the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs will be present to connect, answer questions, and hear your feedback in an informal setting. You’re also welcome to just drop in, enjoy lunch, and recharge.

We hope to rotate this monthly lunch to different locations across campus. If your department or building has a space that could host the lunch one month, we’d love to hear from you! Hosting is as simple as providing a room for the lunch—we’ll handle the food and setup.
Come as you are, stay as long as you’d like, and take advantage of this opportunity to connect, collaborate, and build your postdoc community.
