- Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships: this office provides general resources for students to understand their funding options. Please note that this office does not manage individual assistantships, interested students should contact their department directly to learn about current assistantship availability.

- Office of Student Financial Assistance: this office administers financial aid for graduate students including loan opportunities, work study and emergency funding.
- Student Accounts Office: this office assists graduate students with their bill and payment options.

- Off Campus Housing Resources: online resources for students looking for housing off campus including property listings, a system to find a GW-affiliated roommate and renter education information
- Public Transportation: Washington DC has a comprehensive transit system (both metrorail and bus systems) that connects GW students with opportunities across the Capitol region.
- U-PASS: GW participates in the U-PASS program which provides full-time GW students with unlimited use of Metrorail and Metrobus for a discounted, flat fee.
- Parking: GW has limited on-campus parking available for students.
- Student Discounts: GW student life comes with perks! Many businesses offer discounts to students with their gwu.edu email address or university ID.
- Campus Life: There is always something happening on campus! GW hosts hundreds of events open to graduate students annually.

- Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP): GW offers comprehensive health insurance through Aetna Student Health.
- Student Health Center: provides both medical and counseling services to GW students.
- Lerner Health and Wellness Center: offers fitness opportunities for GW students based on the Foggy Bottom campus.
- Office of Advocacy and Support: provides trauma-informed and healing-centered confidential support to GW students impacted by sexual violence, relationship violence, and/or stalking.
- GW Police: provides residential hall security and patrol services to the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses and oversees security at the VSTC campus.
- Emergency Medical Response Group (EMeRG): provides basic life support and free transport services to GW students on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses.
