This annual event celebrates the contributions and achievements of GW’s postdoctoral community. This full-day celebration features professional development, networking, university resources, community building, and recognition.
Our monthly Postdoc Community Lunches offer a casual space for postdocs from across GW to connect over a free meal. Drop in when you can, meet colleagues, and take a well-deserved break from your day.

Our quarterly events offer fun, informal opportunities to connect with the postdoc community throughout the year. From coffee breaks to Pi Day, Tau Day, Black Hole Week, and more, these casual events are designed for postdocs to stop by and stay as long as they’d like.
Throughout the year, OPA hosts additional events based on the interests and needs of our postdoc community. These may include webinars, networking opportunities, professional development programs, holiday celebrations, and other special events.
